The man above was elected to represent the views of the people of Wirral West.
Yet on the two of the four biggest votes of the year so far he was not there…..
For the two that did not matter a great deal he rebeled:-
| House | Date | Subject | Stephen Hesford | Lab Vote | Rôle |
| Commons | 20 May 2008 | Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill — Fertility treatment requires father and mother — rejected | minority | no | Rebel |
| Commons | 19 May 2008 | Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill — Testing for sibling tissue compatibility | minority | no | Rebel |
What about the other two votes that he did not turn up for?
Whatever your views on the abortion and embryology debate were, surely our MP should be there voting one way or the other….not just missing it!
It was a two day debate!
Where were you Mr Hesfraud?
…..was he helping in the defeat in Crewe and Nantwich… or as there was a football match…. was he away as a guest of McDonalds?

Thet’re all on holiday at the moment, perhaps Hesford left a little early after voting
What did you think of the goings on at the council, John? In the week we hear that council officals miscounted the number of lanes in a pool and have to start again, the lib-lab pact continues! You can almost hear the sighs of relief from the likes of David Green, as he was a goner otherwise.
